The pinta was a ship in a fleet of christopher columbus on his voyage to america. other ships were flagship santa maria and nina. the voyage of the christopher columbus starts in august 1492 in port palos de la frontera.. Nina was a classic caravel with pure latten rigging, with hanging sails in the middle point of the lateen yard and with shrouds hooked to ship’s broadside. it had no forecastle and it had a small quarter- deck.. Presentation of the plan of historic sailing ship models is supported by the kon tiki raft, greek and caesar bireme romana, three-lobed battleships, galleons and other pirate ships. the free download of special clippings, ariel, cutty shark and other famous ships will help in making the model, we will help you in scaling, in the amount of conversion, in the shipmodel descriptions collection..
Christopher colombus' nina plans. nina is one of the ships of coulombus', and it's said to be his favourite. the plans have really usefull instructions, details, but the plan has so much pieces and needs some action before building.. Now the web site is renewed, and the plans are gonna be on our own server. which means the free scale model ship plans are going to be directly downloaded on your devices. we couldn't take care of the site for a long while.. Story of the nina: the original 'nina', 'pinta', and 'santa maria' used by christopher columbus on his first voyage across the atlantic were common trading vessels. the 'santa maria', which columbus never liked, ran aground and sank on christmas eve 1492 in hispaniola (now cape haitien)..
